Magnificent, excellent location in the center of the action in Waikiki. Well-maintained room, as well as extremely friendly staff at the bell desk.

The hotel was greatly located right at the beach. There were excellent views to the Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean. The pool was very nice, and the view was gorgeous. The lobby was neat and convenient. The staff from the receptionists to the cleaning ladies and storage workers was very friendly, relaxed and helpful. We didn't want cleaning every day so we just placed the Don't disturb card, and it worked fine with the cleaning staff. There was an ABC store in the same building, which was awfully helpful. You could fetch medicine, snacks and souvenirs in no time. The rooms were quite small but convenient with microwaves and coffee makers. All in all, the hotel was a great worth for money, and I would recommend it to anyone!
The air-condinitioning worked but it smelled of mold. The room was cool and airy anyways, so we didn´t need it. The cleaning staff´s storage room was right next to our room, so the door banging started in the morning, and it disturbed a little. Even though it was a non-smoking hotel, some hotel guests did smoke, and the smoke entered our room through the balcony or the hallway.

The location was very good on the beach front. The hotels valet staff were very prompt and the room had a great view over the ocean. The hotel also had a great bar on the 1st floor which come alive at night.
Rooms could do with a bit of an update.

I loved waking up with an unobstructed view of Diamond Head and the ocean. The beach is right across the street, and the nearby park added to the experience. Renting beach chairs was super convenient and made our beach days more enjoyable.

location to the beach - literally across the road
hotel is really dated - needs a bit of a revamp, old furniture, old carpet, very old bathrooms.

It was a very comfortable stay at Park Shore, great room ,very comfortable bed , great ocean view room , staff very friendly . At a reasonable price ...not budget but not luxury either. Would stay at Park Shore again .if we got the same room..
No point in dwelling on negatives , we had a great 14 night stay at Park Shore. And we will be going back to Honolulu in 2013 in september.

great stay with a few minor issues
The location was excellent, placing us just steps from the beach and local shops. The staff's prompt assistance with the mini fridge problem exemplified their commitment to service.
The blinds in the room could not effectively block out the morning light.
